MEYRA appoints Dr. Soenke Roessing as CEO

Porta Westfalica – 22 October 2025 – Dr. Soenke Roessing will assume the role as CEO at Meyra Group, a leading European provider of innovative mobility and rehabilitation solutions, on 1 November 2025. Dr. Roessing succeeds Bernd Fabian, who will pursue new endeavors after more than four highly successful years at Meyra.

Under the leadership of Bernd Fabian, Meyra has evolved into one of the leading international players in the industry for medical mobility solutions. Employees and shareholders of Meyra extend their sincere appreciation to Mr. Fabian for his outstanding commitment and significant contributions.

Dr. Soenke Roessing brings extensive industry and leadership experience in the healthcare and mobility sector. Most recently, he served as CEO of Detax GmbH, a leading material manufacturer of medical products for dentistry and hearing care. Prior to that, he spent around 14 years in various leadership roles at the globally operating Ottobock Group. During his time at Ottobock, he played a key role in advancing the company’s mobility products and patient care businesses, and in establishing its exoskeleton division as a global market leader.
